Project Details
The GMHBA Stadium at Kardinia has recently completed its stage 5 redevelopment and has delivered a new northern standard as part of the upgrade, increasing the seating capacity by 14,000 to 40,000. The Joel Selwood Stand secures the venue’s status as Australia’s best regional stadium and completes the ground’s transformation.
The $142 million ‘Stage 5’ project includes:
- A new grandstand at the northern end of the stadium, increasing the overall capacity to over 40,000
- A new indoor cricket hub to be located between the stadium and the railway line
- A new entry plaza to be established adjacent to Moorabool Street and the north of the stadium
- New professional and community sport change rooms and facilities
- A sports museum
CAG Key Deliverables
Classic Architectural group was engaged by Watpac Construction to supply and install a variety of products from our extensive range, this included Tredfx Safety Stair Nosings and Tactiles, Classic Bike Racks, Bollards and Car Park Fitout products. Our team also conducted extensive LRV testing onsite, ensuring all installed Classic products met the required safety standards.
