Puffing Billy.

We are thrilled to have been part of the incredible Puffing Billy Railway project, Australia’s premier preserved steam railway in the Dandenong Ranges. Puffing Billy has the highest patronage of any volunteer-based, not-for-profit narrow-gauge steam heritage railway in the world. Being over 100 years old, full of charm and in an enchanting location, this beautiful railway saw over 487,000 visitors last financial year, with 64% being tourists. Classic was engaged to supply and install tactile indicators at Puffing Billy stations, including the Belgrave and Lakeside platforms to ensure ease of navigation and added safety for all passengers. We take immense pride in contributing to better shared spaces and look forward to working on even more projects in the railway industry!
