The project also includes the development of a new precinct masterplan catering to worker and community needs, featuring a laneway with retail and culinary attractions, along with a sunlit town square plaza. The precinct links Elizabeth St and O’Connell St, creating a crucial pedestrian pathway connecting the Queen Victoria Market, the biomedical precinct, and the upcoming Parkville metro station.
