The King David School
In 2015-16, The King David School embarked on its most significant and exciting building project with the objective to provide a modern educational environment with flexible learning spaces, new play spaces, and renovated historical mansion building to create optimum learning environment for primary school students. Clarke Hopkins Clarke were given the onus of designing it.
With safety in mind, Clarke Hopkins Clarke, wanted a set of floor safety products that would keep everyone safe and would also equally contribute to the vibrant environment.
Working closely with the architects and design experts from Clarke Hopkins Clarke, Classic team developed and implemented a stair safety solution comprising natural anodised aluminium stair nosing with Tangerine inserts to cover thousands of metres of stairs within the school premises. This solution was fully compliant with the Australian Safety Standards and complemented the overall design .
